Waiting Room
Waiting Room was formed by Alan Fletcher, Tommy Rando and Chris Hawker in 2004 and immediately took up a weekly residency at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow in St Kilda mainly playing covers.
In 2005 the band released In the Waiting Room and were invited to tour the UK pub and University circuit twice that year to huge acclaim. The band toured the UK 12 times over 10 years to sell out crowds.
Waiting Room maintained a residency at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow hotel in St Kilda, Melbourne for 12 years appearing every Monday at the Neighbours Trivia Night

- Waiting Room starting performing at The Elephant and Wheelbarrow Hotel in St Kilda, Melbourne in 2004 at the weekly Neighbours Trivia Night. Within a year the band was touring the UK to sell out crowds, twice a year promoting their album ‘In The Waiting Room’. Here are videos of the band performing the songs from various albums live and some promotional videos from the tours.
In 2015 Alan performed in Iceland, a country where almost half of the population watched Neighbours. It was a phenomenal experience. The press and public response was overwhelming. Matt Spracklen created this video to capture the experience.
