This month’s blog post is a change of pace as I feature powerhouse rock act
Dallas Frasca’s pedigree in rock is impeccable with a fiercely loyal following in Australia and Europe. Formed in 2006, the band’s big, bold sound has featured heavily on the festival circuit in Australia and France.
Three European tours in 2013 and 2014 and support performances for Patti Smith, Earth, Wind & Fire, Aerosmith, Billy Joel and Van Halen, as well as taking out ‘Artist Of The Year’ at the 2010 Australian Independent Music Awards have all helped to cement Dallas Frasca as a premier rock act.
I am always astounded by this band’s powerful live performances.
Front woman Dallas’ colossal stage presence and devastating vocals are equally matched by the monumentally unmistakable guitar tones of Jeff Curran and trademark gargantuan hitter, Zane Rosanoski on drums.
The simple fact is I could exhaust you with superlatives about Dallas Frasca. But the proof is in the pudding. Dallas has gifted you the band’s showcase single All My Love.
This song came third (over 16,000 entries) in the AAA category of the International Songwriting Competition judged by Ozzy Osbourne, Tori Amos, Janelle Monae, Tom Waits and Basement Jaxx. This is a song that I believe ranks as one of the best rock tracks I have ever heard.
